Alexander Cox is a researcher within the Climate & Energy Program and a PhD Candidate at the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University.
His research examines the use of environmental accounting systems used to value ecosystem services in emerging carbon and biodiversity markets. At The Australia Institute, his work focuses on the integrity and effectiveness of national and state environment policy.
Alexander has a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science and a Masters Degree in Environmental Management and Development.
He has previously worked in the resources industry in roles relating to regulatory compliance and environmental monitoring.
