What does artificial intelligence mean for workers? How can innovation be worker-centred?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is being rapidly implemented in workplaces across the country without the engagement or even knowledge of workers. The government is consulting on how to regulate for the ‘responsible and safe’ use of AI but, so far, there has been little attention paid to what AI means for workers.

In this webinar we will discuss some of the different ways AI impacts workers, and hear how the FSU and CPSU are responding to defend and strengthen job quality and worker empowerment as AI transforms many work processes.

Speakers

Rebecca Fawcett, Deputy Secretary, CPSU
Nicole McPherson, National Assistant Secretary, FSU
Fiona Macdonald, Policy Director (Industrial and Social), Centre for Future Work
