Stephen Darwin

Can Australia buy better grades?

Since becoming the first full time holder of the office of NTEU’s ACT Division Secretary, Stephen Darwin has been a highly visible spokesman and campaigner on higher education workplace issues. Stephen has extensive experience in post-secondary education. He has been a lecturer at the ANU, the Director of the Education Development Centre at CIT and has held educational design roles at the University of Canberra and Deakin University. He has done research in the areas of innovative pedagogical models and educational evaluation.

Stephen discusses the position of higher education in Australia at the moment, the effect Gonski reforms have had and will have on higher education, and the future of the tertiary education sector.
