The Australia Institute is one of the country’s most influential public policy think-tanks. Based in Canberra, we conduct high impact research that combines rigorous fact-driven material with cutting-edge communication strategies.
When we talk about ‘research that matters’ we are talking about making real, tangible changes that would not have happened if we were not there to make them happen.

Postdoctoral Research Fellows
The Australia Institute is recruiting Postdoctoral Research Fellows. Postdoctoral Research Fellows will use the skills and knowledge gained in their PhDs to work on Australia Institute research projects and learn how to extend their research past academia and create real impact.
Postdoctoral Research Program Manager
The Australia Institute is seeking an experienced Postdoctoral Research Program Manager to oversee the new Postdoctoral Research Program. The Postdoctoral Research Program Manager will help Postdoctoral researchers learn how to put their research into action by developing skills to make it easier to communicate and disseminate research to policymakers, key stakeholders, and the general public.
