This nationally representative polling shows strong support among the Australian public for the right of PALM visa holders to change employers in a range of circumstances. This includes if they are paid less than they are owed (68% support); if they are not provided with enough working hours (78% support); and if there are problems with their accommodation (81% support). Most Australians (66%) also support giving PALM visa holders access to Medicare while they are working in Australia.
