WordPress Developer

We are seeking an experienced full stack WordPress developer who can maintain and improve our suite of websites to showcase the Australia Institute’s research.

Communications Director

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for the role of Communications Director to lead the Australia Institute’s media and communications. The role uses traditional, social, earned, and owned media platforms to generate media coverage of our research, build the profile of the Institute and ensure our work leads the national debate and drives changes in public policy.

This is a full-time role located in our Canberra office.

Senior Media Advisor

We are seeking a Senior Media Advisor to increase media coverage of the Institute’s research, proactively pitching stories and building relationships with journalists and media outlets.

Writing copy and curating news content for the Institute’s website and social media channels also forms part of this role, which is full time and based in our Canberra office.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship

Do you believe that research matters? Do you want to use your research skills to drive important public policy debates in Australia?

As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will apply the skills and knowledge gained in your PhD to Australia Institute research projects. You will learn how to extend your research abilities beyond academia and enhance your communication skills so that you can disseminate your research to policymakers, the media and the general public.

Candidates must have completed their PhD and have evidence of their ability to conduct independent research and assume responsibility for the development and completion of research projects and publications.

Our research programs are varied and we welcome applications from across all research disciplines.
