Do you or your colleagues need to know more about economics?
New courses offered by The Australia Institute
The Australia Institute offers tailored courses on understanding economic concepts and how they apply to your specific circumstances. Whether you’re involved in the creation of policy, advocacy or you just need to understand some economics to better do your job the Australia Institute can provide a course to meet your needs.
You don’t need an economics degree to understand economic principles. Economics offers a toolkit which can be applied to problems. Understanding each of the tools and just as importantly knowing which tool to use and when is essential for being able to hold your own in public debate.
Issues that could be of interest to your workplace:
- Climate change
- Poverty
- Equity
- Business and consumer behaviour
- Health and education reform
- Privatisation and deregulation
We offer:
- Half-day courses
- Full-day courses
- Two and three day courses
- Five day intensive courses
- Full semester subjects (three hours per week for 12 weeks)
Courses can be done at your workplace or put on at a location by The Australia Institute. They can be for a number of different sized groups, from larger lecture type settings to small groups. Contact The Australia Institute on 02 6206 8700 or mail@tai.org.au if you would like more information or to book a course.
