“People in Mayo will be on the frontline if a major oil spill spreads along the SA coastline. They know it’s just not worth the risk. The upcoming by-election is a great chance to send that message straight to Canberra,” said Craig Wilkins, Chief Executive of the Conservation Council of SA.
“The people of Mayo clearly think the Great Australian Bight should be protected as a sanctuary, not turned into an industrial zone,” said Wilkins.
