TAI hosts Joseph Stiglitz in Sydney
The Australia Institute, in partnership with the City of Sydney and the Economic Society of Australia NSW, is delighted to bring Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz to Sydney to address a public forum on the topic of “The Price of Inequality”.

The keynote address by Joseph Stiglitz marks the Institute’s 2014 Gavin Mooney Oration and will explore how we can improve social wellbeing and address relative inequality in our local neighbourhoods while creating productive economies and liveable places where everyone has access to good public transport, social infrastructure and services.
The address will be followed by a panel of experts, including the Institute’s Dr Richard Denniss.
