Frances Flanagan
Dr Frances Flanagan is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Technology Sydney.
With an interdisciplinary background in history and law, her research considers the intersection of concepts of labour, climate change and technology. Her research has been published in a range of academic journals including the Journal of Industrial Relations, the Journal of International Labour Law and Industrial Relations, Labour History and New Technology, Work and Employment. Prior to her appointment at UTS, she was a Lecturer in Work and Organisational Studies at the University of Sydney. She has also worked in several roles outside academia, including as National Director of Research at the United Workers Union (formerly United Voice), and as an Indigenous rights lawyer at the Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation.
