Morgan is a social scientist with a decade of diverse experiences within and beyond academia. He has held positions as a research fellow at the Australian National University, as a research assistant on projects funded by the Australia Research Council, as a native title anthropologist, and as a coordinator for the Working on Country Program. He has a PhD in anthropology, and has worked for Tehelka Magazine in India and The Jakarta Post in Indonesia. He manages the Australia Institute’s Postdoctoral Research Fellowship program.
