Final Warning
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or IPCC, just released a report with a a very clear message; there is a rapidly closing window of opportunity to secure a liveable and sustainable future for all. One of the key messages in the report is that new fossil fuel projects are incompatible with a net zero target, a message which lies in stark contrast with the Labor government’s Safeguard Mechanism bill which is currently before Parliament.
This was recorded on Tuesday 21st March 2023 and things may have changed since recording.
