Polling – Albanese Government policies
Media release
The Australia Institute surveyed a nationally representative sample of 2,009 Australians about their awareness of reforms implemented by the Albanese Government and whether they support or oppose those same reforms.
The results show that 84% of Australians support a wage increase for aged care workers and creating a National Anti-Corruption Commission, but only 39% (aged care wage rise) and 20% (creating NACC) were aware of these reforms.
Legislating a social media ban for Australians under the age of 16 is the only reform that most Australians have heard of (55%).
