Just 3% of Australians support the sale of Santos to foreign investors
YouGov conducted a national survey of 1,522 voters on behalf of The Australia Institute between 27 June and 3 July 2025, using an online survey polling methodology.
Voters were asked if Australia should approve, block or delay the sale of Santos to a group of foreign investors, led by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
The poll is compliant with the Australian Polling Council’s requirements.
