Nina Gbor

Director, Circular Economy & Waste Program

Nina Gbor is the founder of Eco Styles. She is a circular economy & sustainable fashion educator, international speaker, researcher, clothes swap maven and eco stylist. Eco Styles engages with media, councils, organisations, businesses, schools, community groups and individuals to develop strategies for holistic systems change towards a more circular economy & environmentally sustainable future.

Nina holds a Masters in International Development at University of Bristol, U.K. She designed and ran short courses in sustainable fashion & textiles at RMIT University in Melbourne and now guest lectures in ethical & sustainable fashion at universities and colleges in Australia and abroad.
Nina has worked on a number of successful campaigns and projects around circularity and waste reduction.
She was featured on Australia’s most renowned environmental television series: ABC TV’s award-winning show, War On Waste. Nina was also an impact consultant for the tv show. She founded Clothes Swap & Style, a clothing exchange platform that teaches and works with councils, municipalities, businesses, community and environmental groups to reduce fashion & textile waste by swapping and exchanging items to keep them in circulation and out of landfill.
